Iphone 6 plus

I was given my iPhone 6 plus by my uncle in new York and he used it for t mobile. I was able to use it for about 4 months until his account with t mobile has cancelled and now i am unable to use it because its locked. Only problem is that i can not get in touch with him at all. please help?
