Q: Can the Apple USB SuperDrive be registered? I tried to type in the Serial No. and cannot register.

I am currently using the latest OS Yosemite Version 10.10.5 on a recently bought iMac 21.5 inch, Late 2013

The serial no. shown on my iMac actually starts with KZxxxx but the packing on the outside starts with C02xxxxx

Does this mean this was a repaired product repackaged??

I'm trying to register my product but once the serial no. is typed, there is some kind of quick screen flash and then I get the message that the serial no. is wrong.

Pls help!

So are you trying to register an iMac or an external Superdrive? If it's the latter, accessories are usually not registered.
