Quicktime Player 7.7.8 compatibility issues with Windows 10

I recently tried to download the latest update for QuickTime Player (version 7.7.8). However, I have Windows 10 on my computer and the latest version is only compatible with Windows Vista or Windows 7. When I tried to install it, the installation stopped because QuickTime Player version 7.7.8 was not compatible with Windows 10. Can someone notify Apple about this issue?

I found a video on YouTube that explains a way to install Quicktime 7.7.8 on Windows 10. It involves three programs: 7-Zip, Quicktime Installer from the Apple Quicktime website, and Microsoft Orca.

The YouTube video is courtesy of a user named Jason Smart. Here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AHyyRPA20BY

It worked! I finally have Quicktime 7.7.8 installed on Windows 10. I hope it works for others, too.
