I am trying to move the location where I view and edit numbers cell content from the bottom of the window to the top (similar to where it is located in Excel). Is this possible? How is it done?

MacBook Pro, iOS 8.4.1

you do not edit at the bottom in numbers. to edit the contents of a cell, you double click the cell and edit right there:

you can move the edit window around, change the width. I am not aware of a way to move the formula result viewer from the bottom of the window:

Yes, changing the location of the result viewer was what I wanted to do. Sigh. I wish I could move it higher but hopefully they will do that in an update some time. You were very helpful! Thank you!!!

you can post feedback to Apple using the menu item "Numbers > Provide Numbers Feedback"

Good point. I submitted feedback as it would be much nicer just below toolbar. 🙂
