Why can't I move pictures from one album to another On my iPad Air2?
iPad Air, iOS 8.4.1
I Was able to do it on past iPads, but with my new iPad Air it is not possible. It's very frustrating to always have to do this through my computer!
Albums that were copied to the iPad by syncing with iTunes are locked. You cannot move photos from one album to another on the iPad. This has always been the case. Move the photos on your computer and resync with iTunes. You can sync via Wi-Fi or by connecting the iPad to the computer,
I got soooo tired of the behavior of IOS iPhoto/Photos app that I started using this app over three years, ago.
Photo-Sort
It allows me to create custom folders and/or sub folders as an album of images (and you can easily slideshow the contents in each folder).
You have the option of keeping the original images in the default IOS photos app, as duplicates OR delete them from the iOS Photos app once you have all of your images organized in the Photo-Sort app.
I do not ever have to go to my computer, EVER, to organize photos on my iDevices, any longer.
THAT was such and still is a pita!
