Some Apple loops sound muddy

I put together some loops on my laptop for use in a video, then tried to recreate it on my Mini where I am working on the video. I discovered that the loops I used were not on that version from iLife '11, but I copied them from my laptop and re-indexed. So now I have them and they sound fine in the preview, but when I add them to a track they lost all treble and became a muddy sounding mess. All the Classic Rock Beats and Classic Rock Fretless did this, the other loops I used are OK.

I am running a mid 2010 Mac Mini 10.10.5 and Garageband '11 6.0.5
