Numbers on my iPhone 6 is not syncing with iCloud today.

I have been using Numbers on iPhone for several years. It has synced reliably with my iCloud account and then back to my computer. Today I see an upload arrow on all the files I have changed in the past couple of days. I am presuming that this is a syncing icon. I have created a file in iCloud using my Macbook Pro and the Numbers beta on iCloud. I have opened my copy of Numbers on my Macbook Pro and seen the new file I created in iCloud.

When I open the Numbers files that I modified on the iPhone 6 this morning, the copies are the ones I modified yesterday.

I am using the latest operating system on the Mac and on the iPhone.

Is this issue something that I can fix or is it an Apple syncing issue?
