Is there a way to import a folder full of photos from a usb stick instead of importing just the photos? (It's not letting me just click and drag the photos from the USB folder in finder either.

Is there any reason why you cannot put the photos in question into a folder in the USB drive and then import the folder to the Mac?

The photos are already in a folder on the USB drive, but for some reason my laptop isn't letting me import the folder. Instead, it's just importing the photos in the folder so I have to import them, and then make a new folder, and then copy and paste them into the new folder.
I find that bizarre. I am not sure that I have an answer for you.
What is the format of the USB drive?
