Are there non-apple touch screen displays that work with a macbook air.
I'm looking at the Acer T232HL Abmjjz 23-Inch (1920 x 1080) Touchscreen Widescreen Monitor
MacBook Air, Mac OS X (10.7.2)
if its mac compatible why not
There is no built-in software support for touchscreen displays. Before you buy any such device, make sure there is OS X software support for it from the vendor, or that it works in Boot Camp if that's how you intend to use it. Keep in mind that the software may not be updated very often, if at all, and that if it stops working under a future version of the OS, the display may become useless to you.
