It's not necessary to use private metadata network on Xsan 4?
OS X Yosemite (10.10.5), Server
It's never been absolutely necessary, but certainly was recommended. Server.app v4 and Xsan in Yosemite (10.10.X) will set it up by default without one. A little disconcerting to those who have been setting them up all these years, but there it is. You don't need a private metadata network for Xsan. You never did. Still a good idea.
