Can iBooks Author add line numbers next to text?
I want to add line numbers in increments of 10 in the margins of an article, but cannot figure out how to do it. That way, a reader could direct someone's attention to "line 27 on page 2." Thanks!
You could use the Right Tabs, if you want the line numbers to be to the right of your text, which seems like the best place for them. You would want to show the ruler, and then you could create the tabs and set up a paragraph style to format the lines of text for which you'd like to add line numbers.
It's not gonna number your lines automatically, I know – I understand, but it provides a solution.
