Mac will not let me enter my new apple ID?!

Ive recently changed my email address on my apple ID and my icloud won't show my new email address and it keeps asking me for my password but i cant enter it because its the wrong email address.

I have tried deleting the icloud on accounts but now its there just saying 'inactive' and my new one is saying 'inactive' and 'This is not your primary ICloud account'

all my calendar and pictures and everything are on my icloud and i want to sort it out 😟
