I've updated my 5c and now the screen disappears!
I recently updated my 5c and today the screen disappeared. I cannot get it back.

Reboot. Hold down the power and home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo (15-20 seconds).

thanks! Tried it and the screen came back but after a minute or so the screen went stripy (like a barcode) and has disappeared again! Argghh
I had a similar "stripy" screen a while back and had to have my phone exchanged - was due to a display defect. It the phone is in warranty and not due to physical damage, then it is likely covered - if not then it will be $269. Sorry.
