Lock screen loop? my ipod touch 5g is cycling between the lock screen and the apple logo. When I swipe and put in the first digit of my passcode, it crashes back to the logo. How can I stop this? I can't connect to itune either because of this... 😟

Also, this is the original device (not 'jail-broken') and I am the original owner. It worked normally and this started after i plugged it in. It is fully charged.
one more thing, right before I plugged it in, my mom used it and held the volume up sound button down trying to adjust the sound because she is older.
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
