tool to connect hard disk

Is there a tool to more easily attach a replacement hard disk in an iPod classic?

I do not like the edge card connector as its kinda hard to easily attach.

I also will be replacing a battery but I already have those items in my eBay watch list ready if needed

I have noticed that Toshiba has a new larger 220GB disk that will fit inside the iPod classic, so I was thinking why not upgrade will repairing?
