Many instruments are not working due to Garageband using a different version of Alchemy. This is the error message displayed:
"The preset you are attempting to load was created with a newer version of Alchemy than you have installed, so it cannot be loaded."
Is there a way to fix this error?
This is actually occuring on all my macs in my lab and was just recently reported. I have a question for you. Are you running Logic and Garage Band. I have a theory that Logic updates the presets to work with it's version of Alchemy but that the version for GB is not the same and since I Alchemy is no longer in the Plugins folder but built into the app I have no way of testing this theory.
If anyone has a solution for this please let us know.
