I downloaded 12.2.2 on my windows 10 now it does not recognize my i-pod nano and it will not connect it so I can downloads the songs I just bought.
I have uninstalling and reinstalling several times. Anyone have any suggestions?

What AV are you using? Some Norton users are unable to sync with non-iOS devices at all.
Run services.msc and check that the iPod Service is running.
