Safari is located in your Applications folder. If you deleted it, then you will need to reinstall OS X.
IT is there but when I try to open it , it says safari can't find server "safari"
You've accidentally set your home page to the word "Safari" which makes no sense. In Safari, click the Safari menu (top left of the screen) and click Preferences. Under the General tab, look for "Home Page", and type in "yahoo.com" (without the quotes) if that's what you'd like as your home page. Close the Preferences window, and quit and re-open Safari. You should get a window with Yahoo loaded.

iI've done that, but how,do I change it back to safari?
There's no URL for "safari". Safari is the browser (the application you're using). Yahoo is a website.

Brand new Imac, is it possible to go to app store and download Yosemite osx again, to fix this problem?
Im honestly not sure I understand what the issue is, but your best plan is to create a new user in System Preferences - Users and Groups. Log in as that user - it'll have default settings.
