I restored my Late 2013 MBP retina to a time capsule back up the other other day and got stuck half way on the black restart screen after the backup finished.(Its been like this for a couple days and I even tried to restart the restarting process)

Restarting Screen Stuck, HELP.

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2013), OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

Howdy Joe,


I understand that, after restoring your MacBook Pro, the system is no longer able to boot up. In such a situation, starting your Mac up in safe mode (hold the Shift key after you hear the startup chime) can help resolve issues that would prevent your Mac from starting up successfully.

Try safe mode if your Mac doesn't finish starting up - Apple Support
