any ideas? I asked before, but who knows were the question wound up. My screen scrolls smothly with the arrow keeps, but it moves in fits and starts with the built in track pad. Is there a solution? I thank you.

start up in safe mode and test your scroll
Thanks. But I'm laughing at my self. I could research how to start in safe mode, then check the scrolling, but then I wouldn't know what to do. I guess I'll have to live with it until I can put it in someone else's hands.
