A few weeks ago, I backed up and restored my phone multiple times. After I restored my phone from the backup I created, it always went to the "Welcome to Your New iPhone" screen. I hoped that restarting my computer or updating iTunes would help, but it still goes to that same screen when I click on the tiny phone icon. I cannot do anything to my phone via iTunes right now.
iPhone 5c, I update iTunes frequently.

Backs up to iCloud
When it shows wecome screen set iPhone up over
Your WiFi you can do almost everything over your WiFi
Since ios7
If you still have problems restore to Factory Settings .
Then set backup over your WiFi use same Apple ID
To get your Apps/Data back .
We have 2 iPhones / 3 iPads and haven't used PC
For them for 2 years .
