Aug 31, 2015 6:58 PM in response to BTDOROUGHby Ralph Landry1,Jjust what do you mean by damaged? Is it truly dead and will not respond in any way when you do a reboot or connect to your computer? If you have backed it up to a computer in the past, will that computer recognize it even if damaged?

Aug 31, 2015 7:02 PM in response to Ralph Landry1by BTDOROUGH ,sscreen sensitivity is gone. Cannot enter passcode. Rebooting didn't help. And the computer I have is too old to sync with phone. I know it's sad.

Aug 31, 2015 7:14 PM in response to BTDOROUGHby Ralph Landry1,If it has never been synced with a computer and you cannot get it to operate, there isn't much left in the way of options to get the contents off the old unit. Was it operating on iCloud recently so the photos might be in PhotoStream? Or was it backed up to iCloud so you have something to use for the setup of the new iPhone as Gail was suggesting? That is the only hope at this point.

Aug 31, 2015 7:17 PM in response to Ralph Landry1by BTDOROUGH ,WWhen I booted up the new phone I was able to retrieve all contacts and email was restored but no photos. Not sure what else to do and I am totally naive when talking about iCloud and photo stream.
