Accidentally lost rather than deleted long unfinished email, no email addresses or subject. can it be retrieved? HELP

Is it in your Drafts folder? Who is your email provider? Mine is Yahoo and as I type drafts get auto saved to the Drafts folder. If you cannot see it from your iPad try logging into your account from a computer or Safari page. It may be there. Good luck.
Thanks. I hadn't saved it to draft. I actually copied it intending to put into pages, unfortunately pasting to pages copied the previously selected text, on returning to my email, it had disappeared!
Look in your drafts again but it is likely gone. Might want to look at your settings for your email provider. Mine, Yahoo, is set to auto-save drafts every few seconds just like the software used for this forum so I don't have to save it to drafts, it does so by itself. Cheers and good luck....
