Objects won't properly arrange in Pages 5.2.2. After selecting "move with text" images overlap with footer when the hit the bottom of the page.

Hi. 🙂

I've had this issue since upgrading from Pages 09 (objects would switch pages beautifully back then).

Inserted objects that are set to "move with text" won't switch pages as soon as they hit the bottom of a page but greatly overlap with the footer of the document.

I also can't get them to anchor with a specific section of the text so they tend to switch there position quite a bit.

Here's a screenshot of the issue.

And those are the settings of the object.

Help would be greatly appreciated!

There are other options for Text wrap. Try them and evaluate your image behavior. Setting Text Wrap to None may be helpful.

Thanks for your help.

I just discovered that setting Text wrap to "inline with text" allows you to anchor the image to a specific part of the text (surprise, surprise...). Unfortunately, you're kind of stuck with whatever alignment the text is formatted to. At least there's no more crazy image jumping and overlapping.
