Unable to move accepted meeting invitations between calendars

When I receive and accept a meeting invitation on my iPhone (iPhone 5 running iOS 8.4.1), the meeting is always stored in my iCloud calendar. I would like these to be stored in a different calendar. The iCloud calendar is not my default calendar, and the meeting invites are not sent to my iCloud email address, so I'm not sure why the meetings are stored on the iCloud calendar in the first place.

If I open the meeting in the Calendar app, there is no Edit button (which would normally allow one to move an event between calendars). The edit button is not present on accepted meetings. As a result, I'm unable to move accepted meetings from the iCloud calendar to the calendar I actually want them stored in!

Does anyone have a solution for this?
