Multicam clip problem - both clips ending up as one

Hi,

I am trying to make a multicam clip using two angles from two identical Panasonic cameras. All I get every time is ONE clip with the two angles on the one clip with an 11 minute section of black in between.

I've tried putting markers on both clip, using the audio to sync etc.

I did a successful multicam clip a month or so ago without any problem. I can't understand where I'm going wrong.

Please help me if you can.

I've figured it out myself! Both camera names were identical on the two source clips i.e. "Cam_1". When I changed them to "Pan 1" and "Pan 2" - bingo!!!

You do this in the "Info" section on the right hand side of the screen.
