Device Enrolment Program

I would like to know if it is possible to use DEP to make our iOS devices 'Supervised' ONLY ?

Then we want to install our current MDM provider (Good Technology) and configure the device as we do currently.

Good does not support DEP at the moment so is there another way to use DEP for over-the-air supervision and then allow us to install GFE app and configure as normal?

Thanks

Hi steve.morgan,

DEP (Device Enrollment Program) is designed to quickly enroll your device into your MDM. If your MDM doesn't support DEP, then there isn't a way to supervise it OTA. Many MDM's offer the ability to enroll via an enrollment page wirelessly, but that won't supervise it. The only way to supervise a device and enroll it into your MDM when DEP is not available is to install an enrollment profile from your MDM using Apple Configurator, which requires an initial physical USB-Lightning connection. Once the device is enrolled and supervised, your MDM will push down configuration profiles and apps wirelessly.

Hope this answers your question.
