Q: DVD Studio Pro Remote Control question

So maybe someone has some insight into this. I have received a simple photoshop menu with chapters that you select with boxes and overlays, and I have imported and setup into DVDSP so that when you hover over a menu button it changes color,(using the overlay PSD file) then you select and play. Everything works just fine in that regard. What I wanted to do was set it up so that if you decided to go back to the menu using a remote while a chapter was playing, the same button would be highlighted that you were watching. For example, if I was playing Track 3, when I hit menu on the remote control the button for Track 3 would be highlighted. For some reason this does not work with a remote, EVEN THOUGH this works fine if viewing on a PC or Mac. Whenever I hit menu on the remote, it defaults to Track 1 highlighted.

I have NOT set anything on the disc inspector for the menu and title buttons, or even selected default buttons, and on each track I have set the remote control functions to go to the correct menu highlight.

If you watch each chapter all the way through, it goes back to the menu and the highlight advances to the next track, which is how I programmed it. Its only when you interrupt it with the remote do you get this problem. I am perplexed and wonder if what I am asking involves some sort of scripting (god forbid). Or maybe the functionality of the remote settings is no longer viable due to DVDSP being discontinued. Anyone ever run into this before?...
