Bootcamped iMac refuses to join Active Directory domain

Hello Everyone,

I have been tasked with bootcamping a Mac with Windows 7 and setting it up according to standard. The bootcamping went well enough, however I reached a stand still once I tried to attach it to our domain. It gives an error stating that there is another device with the same name, therefore it can not join the domain. I checked and there is no other device with this name. Is this a common error with boot camped iMacs and is there a solution? Where should I look on my side to resolve this as best I can?
