When will Apple have an equalizer like SPOTIFY???

This is one of the only things keeping me loyal to Spotify, that and the fact I have been informed Spotify's music quality is 320kbp/s and Apple's is 256kb/s. When will Apple destroy their competition?

MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.5)
