"Item currently being modified, Please try again later" ENOUGH ALREADY!

Ok Apple...... I know that there are moderators on these boards and I am not the only person who is getting this error.

I have been trying to purchase a book for over a week and still cannot. All I get is the error message "This item is currently being modified, please try again later"

There are at lest 3 threads discussing this and we have all done the "Hard Reset", used a different device, signed out of our accounts and back in, all to no avail.

When will this be acknowledged as a "known Issue" and fixed?

My Software is current on all of my devices so is there possibly a Bug with the new iOS? or with the latest version of iBooks?

We are all trying to make a purchase here....... is there some reason you do not want our hard earned money?
