I can't access my account

A few months ago I tried to change my apple ID. I failed to do this and while trying got my account disabled because I put my password in wrong too many times, so I then couldn't log on at all. Today I tried to reset my Iphone to factory settings. However, I did not remove the device from my old account so when it restarted it asked me to log on to my old account. I cannot change the password to my old account because when I try to find it on IForgot it says my account does not exist. I now can't even unlock my phone and I don't know what to do!
