Etrecheck and RAM requirements

Hi

I have attached my latest Etrecheck result.

I want to establish whether it is worth me increasing my RAM to 24GB?

If I were to do so, what benefit would I see?

And finally, any other suggestions?

Thank you.

I see that you use a lot of RAM, upgrading to 24GB would likely help. However what might be better is reducing the amount of open apps you have. Also, consider changing from Firefox to Safari, your top use of RAM and top CPU user is Firefox. This indicates you likely have many tabs or windows open simultaneously, do you really need that many?

Safari has become more efficient over the years and has caught up on some features users wanted. So you may see a little speed difference by using it. Upgrading to 24GB, would not hurt, however it's impossible to say if upgrading to 24GB would be noticeable however if I were to guess, I think performance might increase somewhat.
