Controllers not working properly on an axiom pro

I am having a very strange problem all of the sudden. I have an axiom pro 61 and in my layout I have assigned controllers for the sliders and knobs which work fine at the layout level. Once I go into the concert level and/or a patch the controllers won't smoothly go from 0 to 127 act very glitchy, almost as if they are getting double the messages. I can't seem to figure out what's happening. Any ideas?
