I have a iphone 4s. I've got ios7 and want to update it to ios8. There is ios8.4 only available now. Can I skip versions that were available in between? Am I hooped because I didn't update the earlier versions? Require an answer soon. Thanks.

You can and must skip the intermediate versions.
