Garageband has a 2 second delay when I play guitar. Why?

Hi gtarpe,

If you are experiencing a delay between when you play something on your guitar and what comes out of your computer, you may have latency. You can troubleshoot using the steps in this article - GarageBand '11: If there’s a delay between when you play and when you hear the sound.
