Fan noise from MacBook Air after upgrading to OS X Yosemite

Hello,

I have recently upgraded my MacBook Air (13-inch, Early 2014) to OS X Yosemite.

I notice that when I am doing video chat using Hangouts on Google Chrome, my laptop is making excessive fan noise. This was not the case when I was running OS X Mavericks.

Is this something to worry about? I have no other application running when I am using Google Hangouts.
