I have older messages on my phone
The message program on Mac is great as I am able to receive messages and reply during meeting without getting to the phone.
I would to access older messages but I found these messages are only on the phone and not on the app.
How to expand the history on the application?

If the messages were sent before you setup Continuity on the Mac then there is nothing yo can do except copy/send the messages to yourself.

But, I used to see the old messages last month on my mac, then for unknown reason the history is not shown on my mac but the history is still on my iPhone
It seems that the messages has something like 6 to 7 month limit on history while the iPhone does not have such a limit.
It is better to print the messages from the messages compares to the iPhone.
is there are way to change the history limit on the mac messages program
