Check that you have Bluetooth and Wi-Fi enabled on your iPhone.

Check that your Apple Watch is connected to your iPhone

    - Swipe up on your watch face > swipe left or right to the Settings Glance - this will show whether it is connected / disconnected.

    - About Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on Apple Watch - Apple Support

Reset the network settings on your iPhone (you will need to re-establish your Wi-Fi connection afterwards, if configured)

    - Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

Then restart both your iPhone and Apple Watch:

    - Restart Apple Watch: Press and hold the side button until you see the Power Off slider; Drag the slider to turn off completely; Afterwards, press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo.
