Experienced a Kernel Panic running 10.10.5

I just experienced a kernel panic on my Mac mini (late 2012) after not having experienced one in months. I had been experiencing them quite frequently.

Any help reading the following panic log and your suggestions or comments would be very much appreciated.

I don't see any software issues, my guess is it is RAM related or some other hardware fault such as a failing HD. RAM issues are always:

Incorrect RAM (use only Crucial or OWC RAM)
Unseated RAM (remove and reseat)
Failed RAM (replace as needed)

Hi and thanks for the response.

My Mac mini came with Apple RAM that has not been altered and is factory installed and cannot be removed or reseated.

The SMART status of the Apple OEM 1TB HD is 'verified." I have verified the directory structure of the HD and there seem to be no issues.

I will run AHT to determine if there is failing RAM.

No. given that kernel panic, there are not any other causes besides hardware.

Do you have anything connected, especially USB3 or Thunderbolt devices?

However, the panic is memory related as already mentioned, so it is unlikely it is a peripheral hardware device.

You can formate the startup disk and try a fresh install of Yosemite and reinstall apps and only restore data

Since then 3 kernel panics. System had been behaving perfectly for months.

There is OBVIOUSLY something wrong with this release or the Mini firmware update which went in at the same time.

I beg your pardon....

When two solid machines start crashing right after an OS release, I consider it to be relevant, based on 30+ years of Unix development, support and product management to add my report of a crash to the first one. I did not post a dump - because that would be thread jacking.

I mentioned the firmware only because both updates showed up at the same time and to jog to OP to remember if he had changed that as well....
