Podcast subscriptions in iTunes not showing up in Podcast app on iPhone and iPad

I am running the latest version of OS X 10, iOS 8, and iTunes. My hardware is a 2014 rMBP, iPad Air 2, and iPhone 6 Plus.

I have two podcast subscriptions in iTunes, but they do not show up on my iPad or iPhone podcast app. I am logged into all three devices with the same Apple ID and I have "sync podcast subscriptions and settings" checked in iTunes Preferences. I have logged in and out of iTunes on all three devices, but it did not help. Any idea how to fix this problem?

After doing some more "googling" around, I believe that only iOS devices can keep podcast subscriptions in sync with each other, same with Macs. Question to Apple would be, why not make podcast subscriptions able to sync from iOS device to Mac?

I find that played/not played status syncs fairly quickly, but the setting to delete played episodes in 24 hours usually takes at least two days to occure.

What information is NOT being synced in your case?

If I subscribe to a podcast on my Mac, it doesn't show up on my iPhone or iPad. On the other hand, if I subscribe to a podcast on my iPhone or iPad, it shows up on my iPhone or iPad immediately.

Thanks for the link. I use to leave feedback, but I don't anymore. Unfortunately, I find it a big waste of time 😟
