How do i upload a mixed recording without incrementation skips

How do i upload a mixed recording without incrementation skips. It seems iTunes breaks the transition between tracks on mixed recordings eliminating a fraction of a second to the recording. Is it possible to avoid this with some type of setting ? Thanks for taking the time
