Kid's iPod authorization request and iTunes for Windows ?

Is there a way to receive and approve in iTunes for Windows an authorization request from my kid's iPod to buy an app from the app store ?

Good day Nick,

My understanding here is that you are using Family Sharing with a young family member who wants an Ask to Buy purchase approved, and you want to know if this can be done from a Windows computer. Is that correct?

Ask to Buy purchases must be approved from a computer running Mac OS X 10.10 (Yosemite) or an iOS device such as an iPhone running iOS 8. There is no option to do so from a Windows computer. See this article for reference - Request and make purchases with Ask to Buy - Apple Support

In particular -

Make or decline a purchase

If you're the organizer, you can use these steps to make or decline the purchase from your iOS device with iOS 8 or Mac with OS X Yosemite:

  1. Open the notification to see the item that your family member wants to get. (See your notifications on your Mac or iOS device.)
  2. Approve or decline the purchase.
  3. If you approve, you need to sign in with your Apple ID and password to make the purchase.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

Safe computing.
