Since I updated iTunes, I can't move my audiobooks from one playlist to another.

Since I updated iTunes,I can't transfer any of my audiobooks from one playlist to another without the whole playlist turning dark blue. I can't download any new books into my playlists either. I have to create a separate playlist. The new books download into 'Recently Added'. Help.
