Automatic Dither
Can anyone tell me if I record everything in 48k. Will Logic automatically handle the dithering when I choose 44.1k for the bounce?
Thanks in advance

Isn't there a Dithering option in the Bounce Dialog? There is in Logic 9.
Dither is important when changing the number of bits used to encode a single sample, specifically when the number of bits is going to be less than 20. Sample rate changes don't require dithering but antialiasing. And that is handled by all proper sample rate converters automatically.
Adding dither when it isn't required only raises your noise floor.

ie; going 24-bits to 16-bits which is the most common.
And then it ends up an mp3 file... hehe.
The last time I checked (10.1.2) Logic would not both sample rate convert AND bit depth convert in one pass. I had to do them in 2 separate conversions. I found this the hard way by sending what I thought were 16bit/44.1 but were still 24 bit/44.1...
