My 5c will not make any alert sounds when I get a email,text or phone call.

My 5c will not make any alert sounds when I get a email,text or phone call. Reboot helps for a short time.

iPhone 5c, iOS 8.4.1

I understand you are not getting alert sounds for emails, texts or phone calls. The following articles should serve as a start for troubleshooting this issue.

Change sounds, ringtones, and alerts on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

If you hear no sound or distorted sound from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch speaker - Apple Support
