I have a Macbook Air. I selected FaceTime, when it opened to my surprise, it started to automatically take photos of me. I cannot locate settings in order to have the freedom to adjust settings. Help!

I have a macbook air. I click open FaceTime and was surprised that it began to take photos of me instantly. How do I stop this. I do not see menu of settings that gives me the freedom to make changes. Help!

When you use FaceTime, the camera will automatic switched on (how else can you do video calling with someone if they can't see you?)

If you connect to someone with an Apple device (iPod touches, iPads, iPhones and Macs with FaceTime enabled) you can do video chat.
