How to copy a snare drum from one track to the next and place it in the same postion on the track

Hi everyone,

I am trying to copy a snare drum from one song and place it in the exact same position on a track in another song. Does anyone know how to do this? Whenever I try to do it I keep getting it close but not in the exact same position. I am sure there must be a feature on Logic Pro X that allows you to this right?

Any tips about this would be great.

Hi there,

I have just found the solution myself! For anyone else who is new to Logic Pro X like myself if you want to copy one item from a track in one song to another song and place it in the exact same position then copy the item and then click on Edit from the menu and then select "Paste At Original Position"
