unable to view music over home sharing

Hi, my kids are complaining that they are unable to play music on their iPods when at home. Looking at the devices it seems that they have updated to the latest iOS and now home sharing only lets them view movies!! How can i get their iPods to access my iTunes music library whilst at home on my home wifi??
