Logitech Z-5450 Speakers

I very interested in buying these speakes. However, I am not completely sure that it works in a laptop MacBook pro and how to plug it in. I am not sure if MacBook Pro supports 3.5mm audio out connectivity (jack)or supports a 5.1 channel speaker system.
I would be very grateful if someone could help me and answer my question
